Well, I haven't been here for quite a while...it's probably the reason why I have struggled with this one so much. Nonetheless, I hope to be bringing you guys a steady stream of content in a few weeks, so stay tuned!! 😃😃 I have been planning this shoot for quite a while, and I'm thankful to the model and to everyone who contributed in some way to its success. It was a wonderful experience featuring an awesome location, as well as some used and unused props. But this is a story for another day.

As a concept, "Damaged" is about the way both external and internal pressures shape our daily lives. There might be days when you feel nothing can get you down and destabilize your mood. But on other days, all you can do is crawl under a rock, and sleep, cry or do both. Whatever shapes us, the most important thing is to ensure that we allow ourselves to experience everything. It is the only way to grow. It is the only way to recover from the damage we have done to ourselves, and the damage we have experienced from life.
This concept is a representation of the mood shifts we go through every day. It also embodies how we construct and reconstruct ourselves in an attempt to become the best versions of ourselves. This is also what the location we shot at does; using recycled materials to create high-quality and stylish glassware that will inspire you. What they do with glass is just amazing...
Make sure you stick around till the end of the post to view some of the shots I got featuring a smoke bomb from Jays Pyrotechnics. It made the end of our session really explosive! Haha 😏

Shot with Suzanne Kirima at Kitengela Hot Glass.

Until next time! Peace, love, and light.
